This will be a fascinating story.
The car was imported to our family from Japan in 2015.

I did almost no tuning for it between 2015 and 2021 except for the wheels.

On September 8, 2021 I got a phone call and some photos on WhatsApp.

My wife was crying and said that the little daughter who was riding with her was okay, but the car was badly damaged.

A guy in a Chevrolet crossed the road in the wrong place and she did not have time to brake.

It was not far from our house and I was there in 5 minutes.
The police found him guilty of the accident, but that did not make this day better.

I immediately realized that the engine was damaged, since the right side member damaged the timing cover and the timing belt gear broke.

Okay, I said, this is a good challenge.
I will make everything better than it was.

After that I came home and opened Japanese auctions. I needed GDB STI. So that I could take all the best from it for a new assembly.

And five days later I won the auction.

The car was then completely dismantled and the damage assessed in more detail.

Then there was work on restoring the geometry.

The front wheel apron panel and radiator panel have been replaced with new ones.

The car was then prepared for painting.

The lower part will also be painted.
